When going to a new country, one needs to be prepared for the differences between cultures. However, another thing one needs to be prepared for are the simple things that need to be addressed in order to adjust to life in a different country.
For example, as I’m packing, OF COURSE I’m going to bring my MacBook Pro (what I’m typing this on), and I realized that the electric outlets in Korea are probably not the same as the ones I use here in the US. After a bit of research, I found out that I need a plug adapter (Korea uses types C & F plugs, voltage 220V, frequency 60 Hz) in order to be able to use my electronics from the States.
So if you’re going to go to Korea in the near future, it would be a good idea for you to get one of these plug adapters before you go. You can get them online for less than $5 and at electronics stores for $10. I’m going to go to a Radio Shack or something similar to ask the sales associate because I’m not sure if the ones online work so well.
Until next time! <3

Those cost too much! Apple sells one for $40…they sell them online for cheaper, but I already went to Radio Shack and bought one. Thanks though!
